Sorry to clutter your thread, but I think this might just be an arbitrary choice and practice which is not necessarily optimal. It seems escapist and self-diminishing or self-truncating.
Wouldn't it be enough to just appreciate being a walking stew of thoughts and humours without seeking some ideal "clear view"?
Or maybe through awareness and acceptance, the stew clarifies itself.

So how about if the stew clarifies itself but still retains its complex flavors?
