I do not like that the meet opponents forum is removed. Why.
Pleace create a new one.
I also would like to be able to discuss specific openings with other players.
Why not creating a 1.e4 and a 1.d4 forum? (or even a sicilian and a Indian defences forum).
what do you other players on this site think about this?😵

I do not think "Only chess" is a good forum for meeting opponents!
I think this site definitely need a new forum.
What about "chessgames"?
I think it is good if you want to practice to play against a certain line in an opening f.e. english 1...e5,
or some line in the Nimzo-indian or why not the french advance?
Start a new chessgames forum!🙂

Yes, the Meet Opponents was for the most part moronic but at least it was kept in one place (that's not to say that the other forums were or still are moronic at times). ...
I'm sorry if you were a "customer" or "participant" in any such "activities".
