The point was irrelevant. The statement was that the questions are pattern based, created by people who think in patterns.

My formula was not based on substitution. My formula was not based on the 1/2 apothem times perimeter formula.

My formula was based on a single triangle.

Just because you don't get it does not mean anything other than you think differently.

Btw, when you say that isn't how you did it, that isn't a put down. Your way is only the best way in your self centered egotistical mind.

I never said I was intuitive, that's your game.

I am more sensory which is why I bother to try to explain things to people like humy.

In any case, I was able to get the answer in little time. This time I gave it some thought.

2×3^658

Gee, I wonder what known pattern would allow one to prep for this question?

Still this problem is easily prepped. Just know that three is the most efficient counting number to muliply by to achieve a maximum result.

With this fact the answer is trivial.

Your hard problem is a pattern problem. People who see patterns have an easier time with those problems.

Have a different type of hard problem and other people would do better. Humy is good in one area of math and pathetic in others. He could either appear to be very smart or very dumb depending on the type of hard problem.

It would also need to be combined with the fact that exponential equations are the fastest growing.

But it would not occur to most people to take the route you took.

Congrats you are really good at certain types of difficult math problems.

Congrats.

With great gifts come great responsibilities. Hopefully you put them to good use.
