The main line is this:
1. Ke3 Re7+
2. Kxd3 Nb4+
3. Kd2 Ra7 [defending against Na3, but now the first idea works since Ra4xc4 is not possible]
4. Nba5 Rxa5
5. Ba4 Rxa4
6. Kd1 with
7. Nd2 mate
That's what you get for being hasty; missed a few variations:

1. Ke3 Re7+
2. Kxd3 Nb4+ [other possibilities are 2. ... Nce5+/Nge5+ 3. Kc3, or 2. ... Re3+ 3. Kxe3, all with mate next move via either Na3 or Bc2]
3. Kd2 Re2+
4. Bxe2 Nc2
5. Bd1/Bd3 with mate next move

Probably still not the full solution though

This was composed by Hans Peter Rehm (1964) - Lepushutz theme.

1.Rh1!

a) Kxh3 2.Kf2 and the king must leave the knight unprotected

b) Kxh1 2.Kf2 and the knight gets lost, and the king can't get to the pawn in time

c) best try is Nf3 2.h4
c1) Kg3 3.h5 and the knight will have to sacrify for the pawn
c2) Nd4+ 3.Ke3 and if Nc2+ then 4.Ke4 and the knight is cut off from the pawn

Correct. Noteworthy too is the simple 1. Rh1 Kg3 2. Rxh2.

After 1. Rh1 Nf3 2. h4 Nd4+ 3. Ke3 Nf5+ 4. Kf4 Ng7 White just plays 5. Re1 and wins. Not the 'eager' 5. h5? Kxh1 6. h6 Ne6+ 7. Kf5 Nf8 8. Kf6 Kg2 9. Kf7 Nh7 10. Kg7 Ng5 11. Kg6 Ne6 and Black holds it.

This exercise task is a bit similar to Capablanca - Lasker, 1937:

1. Ra8+! Kb7
2. Ra7+ Kxa7
3. Kxc7 Ka8
4. Kxb6
White wins

White to move
Hint (about time for a hint): winning simplification.

White to move
1.Rf1
1...Nf5+ 2.Rxf5+! Kxf5 3.Kh4 and the pawn promotes.
1...f5 2.Rf4 Ng2!? 3.Kxg2! and White either promotes or keeps the Rook

Try: 1.Rd5+? f5! 2.Ra5 is almost zugzwang, except for 2...Kxh5.

1...f5 just leaves the N trapped. White will mark time until the pawn tempos run out.

Edit: hmm, I still don't have the right answer for the 1...f5 line.
Incorrect!

Since MY correct answer is OBVIOUSLY in a post above Mephisto's 😉 I'll supply the next problem.
