Yeah, it's one of his games in progress. He chose to promote the pawn to a different piece. I guess it doesn't hurt to discuss the situation of 2 same-color bishops, since that isn't what he did, but I still don't feel right discussing it, since it's a GIP. Some yo-yo will probably comment on the game as it's actually progressing - You just wait, I'll bet someone does it. 😵

A little explanation in case if somebody misunerstood me.
I had a chance to get this situation, not to win. I did not choose this vrarant as it seemed risky. But still it made me curious. No I know the answers. A bit stupid question on my part...,
:😀
Thank you guys for the lightening!🙂

I think you are right. If he had it as an option, and he used the forum to help himself make a decision about the option while the game was still in progress, then a violation occurred.

I hope this isn't a pattern, where players turn to consulting "Chess Forum Engine 1.0" for help on their games. It will make free discussion more problematic.

Thanks!
I think everything works here in RHP forums correctly already. When I started my thread, it was blocked first... But in a short while it opened again. I think it was because, my decisive move was already done before, though the game is still in progress.. Yes, it sounds really bad if somebody would ask for help in forum to save his games.🙂 I would never do it.
