Saw Angus McCarlsen pulling off a trick shot
in this ending with some help from his opponent.
It inspired the Blog.

Also a confession and a clever 16 mover.

This one is great stuff. It reminds me once again that, despite rumors to the contrary, endings are often the most tactical portion of the game.

Cheers Paul.

It's a typical formula I use.

A bit of craziness, the instrucitve bit, capped with a Bxf7+ game.
(sometimes I go overboard on the craziness....)

The lads on here produce such wonderful instructive blunders.
Everytime I look I find loads of examples that write the notes themselves.

That game with the Rook having only one safe square lools like a study.

Thanks GP34.

I'm dreadful in the endgame, particularly with rooks, so lessons like that are helpful. Great stuff.
