Have you never heard of google or ask? I mean this site isn't called RHG or THG or TIG or GAW(Red Hot Google...Time For Googling...The Immortal Googler...Googling At Work) 😛 😉 😵

Project Gutenberg. Not what yo're asking for but you can find a couple of old chess books on there to download.

I don't know of many in the USA. Fred Wilson has a chess book store in New York City that has a number of out of print (OOP) books, some hardcover. I'm not sure how up-to-date he keeps his book list on his web site, though. Here's his URL:

http://www.fredwilsonchess.com/

I've had decent luck using a book search engine if I'm looking for a particular book. I like to use the Addall book search engine.

The home page URL is http://www.addall.com/

There's a link at the top of the page to search for used and OOP books. The search engine is good at finding books offered by almost all of the used book outlets like Alibris, Abebooks, Biblio, etc. Once you have the list of hits from the search engine, you can click on each hit to take you to the seller (e.g., Abebooks) for more information.

Of course, there's always eBay, if you're the patient sort. Hope you find what you're looking for.

chessbooks.co.uk is a great place to look. Tony, the guy who runs it has a huge selection of out of print masterpieces and is very helpful. i'm sure he can arrange to ship his products abroad for a very reasonable price.
