I just finished a game where I won with a mating pattern shown to me by greenpawn. Is there a name for this type of mate? It is tricky and I do not think I would have seen it if not for that thread from long ago.
I mean dropping the queen inside the knight from the g7 square instead of taking the trapped rook. This one is backwards. I would think it would normally take place on the b7 side of the board.
@eladar saidDon't you care about your own behavior and presentation of self?
@caesar-salad
Why? Nobody cares about other people doing it.

I would rather this place be moderated so that people do not get abused and wives do not get called skanky ass whores who are chained to toilets.
@64squaresofpain
When shav is left unmoderated his crap will eventually spread throughout the forum, even the chess forum.
@eladar saidI have spent some time trying to find a name for it, and while I would not call it an "Anastasia's Mate", it does seem to be a little similar.

@Paul-Leggett
It kind of looks like a combo of an Epaulette mate in there as well with the queen cutting off an escape square.
@eladar saidMaybe we'll just call it Eladar's Mate. 😉
