Yeah, definitely...hm, I made that move quite a few months ago so I don't have any idea why I didn't make it, maybe I wasn't able to see that after exd5 Nxd5 Nxd5 Qxd5 Bxe7?? is a major blunder?! I'm not sure, I have no memory of making the move though. 😛

not being a Dragon player anymore (i was never very good with it) but an Accelerated Dragon player instead, the d5 push just sticks out like a really really sore thumb. But im sure that there were better choices than Re8 (what's the rook doing on the e file anyways?)

Well, I didn't check the board. But there's a good chance white had just played Qd2 or something like that...Basically it prevents Bh6 if that's the case. Otherwise...well I can't think of an otherwise, it's a really common move in the dragon though.

Oh I know that, I just tend to like the Grunfeld a little more right now. But trust me, I know how mental it can get in those lines...

Accelerated Dragon = bindtastic, slowtastic, lametastic. It tends to be less risky.

you know, I personally rarely run into the bind.

but Black has tons of ways to break it, such as a safe b5 push or a more risky f5 push.

Accelerated Dragon and risky don't go together. 😛

Yeah, I didn't really know what I was doing. It was just Tony having lots of fun with passed pawns while I went nuts trying to stop them.
