you're right with italy and france being europe's top two though. and i'll admit the best food that you'll find in the uk is either french, italian or indian.

Irrelevant? Perhaps to you, not us. Vanitycare, as you call it, is not always pure vanity as in orthodontics. But you're from Yorkshire, so you wouldn't know. Of course us bumpkin Yanks thank our lucky stars we're not from Yorkshire no matter how bad our leaders say we are. All the while we smile content in our bumpkiness glad we don't have to deal with crooked smiles 24/7. Of course free is irrelevant since you seem so happy to be fleeced.

lose the game. He was rated 143 to my 96 so you'd have expected him to win. It must have
been psychological factors at play to let me throw the game so badly.

Good point about not underestimating the youngsters - he was 11 - and impressive the way he fought on after losing the queen - something he was rewarded for:

What an entertaining debate this has been. Didn't English (as there is no such language as "American"😉 come from England? It is, of course, a Germanic language so we all speak Deutch anyway.
Has anyone looked at the intellectual capacity of the Mayflower pilgrims? Perhaps they were from doubtful stock and were sent away so as no longer to pollute the purer strain that remained behind in this "other Eden, demi-paradise". Just a thought. My teeth are fine, by the way.
