15. c3 allows the knight to infiltrate on d3 with check preventing Exuma's king from castling.

Keeping your opponent's king in the centre of the board is really good for the attacking side.

Yes sorry 15 c3 let the knight in, and began my troubles. The game was not over yet, but I went astray worrying about the wrong thing (a hanging knight) instead of the most important thing - (getting mated)

Hey I've played a game thats made it on to the forum....

I was following a database until you went out of it with Nd1 when my dbase had 0-0-0 for you. You are right with your comments post that move, my Rb8 was played without a lot of thought as it seemed logical and I think we were both online at this time, whilst I was waiting on a response from you I was looking at the position and saw Nd3+ which was pretty crushing

Qd2 before f3 in my opinion is bad as I liked the book position I got after it. Usually f3 is played before Qd2
