@ogb saidHere there's a mechanism for claiming a draw. On LiChess you don't even have to claim, the system automatically draws the game after threefold repetition.
It's my understanding that there aren't any chess websites that allow a draw claim after the three move rule. Just isn't written into the code.

The feature is more suited to OTB as a pose to RHP having the CC second thoughts option. Their have been times when I've clicked submit & regretted it. I can only draw comparison to the 'Blitz' here which needs software surgery. It's a decent point you've made.
