I like your enthusiasm $50 is alot though. LOL I was thinking like half that for an entire year memebership to the whole site including the chess area.
Itontigran yu should email me though myspace - i run a few other pages that you might enjoy but I dont want to post the info here. Log on and send me a message i will be sure to repsond. Plus then you can watch your bulletins over the next few months as the site gets closer to launch. I will be posting new photgrpahy on my myspace pages and overhauling their look too. I will also be offering special membership packages to myspace users.

I appreciate everyones input and respect all the opinions that have been voiced here - and the creative domain suggestions - even though I already have registered the domains I plan to use.
Let me share a minute and clarify a few things. This idea that I am proposing would be an addition/separate section to a web site that I am already building. It w ...[text shortened]... fend you please do not view my page.
Well have a nice evening and good luck on the boards!
I mean, I'm no businessman, but I doubt the chess website scene is terribly lucrative. Just look at all the nice chess sites and servers offering memberships for a few $$/yr. You'd be stuck with the work of building in comparable functionality for little monetary reward.

I had a look at your myspace page and I saw nothing to demonstrate that you do anything more than take standard and cliched glamour shots that might be in any existing porn mag or porn site. Having said that I only saw the one photo on the page along with the background photo ...but this background image seemed to be a linux advert so I wasn't sure if this was your work or not.
Anyway (judging the one image) if this does accurately represent your photographic work then the claims you make for artistic credibility could be debated. Not a bad photo as such but certainly not particularly artistic or original. Further, if you are persuading young women to pose nude for you after convincing them that the images you take are for an artistic pursuit and not simply porn shots then you may be misleading them - especially if they are not paid and you intend to make money from them.
"Let me take some porn shots of you then I will go onto a chess website forum and invite people to pay to look at the pictures" might be a more frank and honest approach
In addition - as this is clearly a commercial venture that you intend to profit from - it might be worth checking you've paid the appropriate license for the Greenday music you're using.
Feel free to point me to an online gallery of your work where I can make a more informed judgment and hopefully be proved wrong.
PS - have you taken any chess images?

hey..that would be a great idea , isn't it ?
Originally posted by HFRorbisNo, it's a clever an idea as a website that sells guns and cakes. Sure, the gun owner might like cakes, but does he want to eat a cake and polish his gun at the same time (no pun intentded)

My question, about whether there would be male models too, was geared to get the confirmation of what type of site he plans - porn at a price, with an option of a game of chess. Instant chat and live webcams with the models is online prostitution and he is advertising it here on RHP in the Chess Forum, tut tut 😲

LOL Porn Queen - I mean Pawn Queen is all over me on this post. I think she is a hater. Nice to see that tolerance is alive and well here. I bet she voted for Bush! Tsk tsk.
You attempt to marginalize and ridicule Pawn Queen as a "hater" whilst complementing other posters for being for being tolerant. In my opinion all that Pawn Queen has done is to correctly expose what you are doing.
You talk of exquisite of photographs featuring the natural beauty of models and then refer to a website as an example of something that is somewhat similar to what you're doing. But after a quick look at some of the many free sample images on this website I find it hard to believe you have ever done more than a rudimentary study of photography. I don't mean college study here, I just mean taking a genuine interest in photography. The images on this website offer nothing more than a basic technical competence and the use of a soft light source to give some semblance of quality. In reality the pictures are formulaic and unimaginative pictures of naked young women. The promise of 50 or so new images every 8 hours also hints at the "factory" nature of the production.
The "goth" "imo" theme of the site is one simple idea to differentiate it from other sites to create the illusion of something more special and rare. The women are all young and many appear to be teenagers. In some cases the "goth" themes seems to have been created on the day for the camera. And if they are genuine "imo" - a term that means emotionally unstable - or "goth" women I seriously question if it's right thing to incorporate them into a porn site where the apparent vulnerability of these women is being sold as something more desirable.
You talk about the women you photograph describing a feeling of being empowered. While it is true that there are prostitutes, porn stars and nude models who enjoy there work and do well by it there are also very many who are not. Many are vulnerable and easily exploited. And lets also remember that the women involved in the more degrading and violent pornography will have started somewhere.
I wonder if your models have a reasonable contract or if there is a time limit on how long the images will be sold for....not that they can ever be retracted from the "customers" who have paid to download them.
Just how much "power" do the models have in this relationship? Could the models, for instance, change their mind about the permission to use an image at a later date or do you own the copyright indefinitely? Do the models fully understand what they are selling?
To me a teenager who expresses a wish to have naked pictures of herself sold on the internet is perhaps not a good example of an empowered individual freely making positive choices for herself. It could well be someone who is responding to a powerful confident and older male who has taken her through a persuasion or seduction process that preys on her insecurities and vulnerabilities.
But if we put what you propose into perspective it doesn't appear to involve trafficked or forcibly coerced women nor does is it seem to be violent or overly gratuitous - so there are worse things that happen in the porn trade. What I find mildly irritating is your assumption that a community of chess players are going to be taken in by this.

I am a photographer - I am wondering if there is interest in a chess site that would include access to photos of beautiful models as part of the mebership. The rest of the site would work like a regular chess site. There would be avatars, clans, rankings forums etc much like this site... Well I thought I would post the question and see what people had to say about it. I look forward to your replies.
