dukeballinhomie: It is my understanding (someone correct me if im wrong) that it is not possible for somebody to be logged in to two accounts on the same machine at the same time. Now, If this person is your friend and you arranged a match with them, then you will have no problem arranging to be online at the same time. Once the green dot is lit next to both of you, it should prove ur not a cheat.
Anyone have a prob with this?

I think we've established that he's not guilty, and is not responsible for the actions of his clanmate. But still, it would be very nice if there was some minimum number of moves that must be played before a resignation can take place. 10 has been mentioned. I would suggest between 6-8 full moves. Up to this point the game must be either be played out or a check-mate must occur.
Sure, in the greater scheme of things, what happened in the games that skeeter highlighted is not that important. But everything that can be done to maintain the integrity of the rating system should be done.
