    @Very-Rusty
    One word I used to hear my daughter say when she was going to Berklee in Boston;
    WICKED HARD or WICKED COOL.
    I thought that one went out with horse whip but I just heard Lawrence O'donnell use that term ( 'Last Word' on MSNBC), of course he is something like 60 years old so it stands to reason it would still be in his vocabulary.

    chop-chop (hurry up)
    Have not heard this for yonks.
    My dad used it all the time.

    Actually I haven't heard "yonks" for yonks either.

    Chop-chop comes from Chinese. It's quickly going out of style, along with "pronto" and "on the double."

    Sir, I have been dropping hints to you about this for quite some time and on one occasion even materialized into your fridge to carve it into your butter.

    (As an aside, Jam is best-left outside of the fridge).

    Methinks "slubberdegullion" is an under-used and under-appreciated word of late. Certainly, there are enough of them about to deserve being so designated.

    I still say have a nice day also enjoy the rest of your day depending the time of day I meet the person I have known for years. New people I will say very nice meeting you and have had a nice day.

    And you say all that without punctuation.

    Moonbus has recently revealed himself as a 'dermatitis vegetarian.'

    Are these words going out of fashion or words that should never have been 'in' fashion?
