Just spent 15 minutes trying to think of a genre that was missing!

Used to go for African & South American rhythms.
Nowadays just put the radio on and listen to contemporary pop.

Progressive Rock / Metal

I am totally nonplussed by "smooth jazz".

I suppose it's a sign of the times that the list includes
horror punk but not chamber music or Dixieland jazz.

I have found quite a lot of "post rock" interesting although one has to remember that the label also applies to music made by bands that have got all the gear but don't have a songwriter or a singer.

I'm liking everything that Imagined Dragons puts out at the moment.
And so does my wife and 6 year-old.

That's 3 generations of critical listeners. 😉
