Apparently society needs psychopaths - they drive us forward,
they are risk-takers and innovators who do not take "No" for
an answer or abide by social, religious or criminal laws.

Please bear in mind, I am a believer first, and a science buff second. 😉

It's becoming apparent to me that you have an exceptional capacity to experience both pleasure and pain, drewnogal.

Well, she's a woman, if you hadn't noticed. Duh. Women seem to have a greater capacity for both.

I'm not saying men don't experience both, what I'm saying is that men don't often share that they experience both.

Suzi, experiencing pleasure or pain to three sigma limits of ecstatic joy or excruciation relates to an individual's acquired capacity. imo There are, however, marked differences in the design and function of each gender's mentality and emotions.

Footnote: Human beings appreciate maximum social, culinary, sexual, intellectual and spiritual satisfaction/fulfillment only to the composite limits to which they have been individually realized or attained (without gender playing the dominant role).
