I believed ~ or at least claimed to believe ~ that I had been born on the ferry between Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire because in my mind - or perhaps I wanted other people's minds to think - it accounted for my cognitive dissonance - as a 7 year old in his fifth primary school - regarding my combination of Irishness and Britishness, and northerness and southerness.
@trev33 saidI refer you to the title for guidance, cognitive structure, contextual poise and if you like, the rule. However by post two it was clear to me that the implication of me shelving the title in the thread equivalent of DIY ‘speciality paints’ was going to limit the expression of contributors and I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
