@kevin-eleven saidHow about Wednesday (July 28th @ 1300 hours)? Now if you could supply me with either, it’s name or it’s coordinates we, we can move forward. As we have never met, in person, perhaps a password would be in order? Please send all my requests via PM.👍
An interesting request, considering I am only applying for what I understand to be a busboy position with some related custodial duties and the occasional escorting out of an unruly customer, with no pay, group insurance plan, or other benefits.
Nevertheless, I know a very nice bookstore and tea shop with old-world charm about 20 km from Checkpoint Charlie. It has a ...[text shortened]... neutral meeting ground for much more highly charged matters.
Meet you there sometime next week?
@great-big-stees saidA red carnation perhaps?

@great-big-stees saidWell, it's been quiet here the past few days, so I would guess we will manage with what we got.
That may have been a good choice but, unfortunately it’s now public knowledge. I requested that they PM me with the required info.🤔👍
@Stees and @Torunn, I happen to be in town for a publishers convention. 🙂
So, if it's convenient for you, maybe we could just meet privately here in the Cribbage Parlour to go over my CV? There are some items that should not be discussed in public. I trust your discretion, having already thoroughly vetted you as potential employers.
Also, I've been going over the schematics of the Tavern and it was interesting to learn that the Cribbage Parlour is essentially contained within a Faraday cage and has some other features to prevent eavesdropping, which of course makes me curious about the history of the building and of that room in particular.

@kevin-eleven saidFunny you should mention that - Stees often talks about some documents and maps he found when we were new in this building. He will be delighted to talk to somebody with a genuine interest in the subject.

@kevin-eleven saidOnce again, this is the last time I’m going to say this.😡 The meeting must be in private. “Publishing” the meeting place, even as only a potential rendezvous spot puts it out in public. If you want us all to meet please PM either of us with that place and don’t forget to give us a “safe” word. I’m starting to think that maybe, just maybe, we may have made an error in thinking you might be a good candidate for the position. Your memory appears to be lacking.🤔

You had better take this seriously. Stees can get very angry. Last time a similar thing happened we had to refurbish the bar.

@great-big-stees saidI must say I don't care for your tone, Mister!

There will be no meeting, private or otherwise.
You have failed my own interview process.
I'm glad you showed this side of yourself before
I made the mistake of accepting a position here.
Good-day to both of you!
