I don't believe anyone can hop into someone else's. You can look and try to understand another's but you can't jump in. You can share and /or change yours IMO, but never step out. Not really.
And yet there are corners of the internet (like this one) where people can choose to "share a common unreality". Problems arise when some try to change it to suit them.

Some engage in online gaming, where no participant really makes their own rules, and everyone must abide by pre-ordained rules, and if they don't like those rules they can choose to simply not play.

That explains much. Sort of.
"Weak" in what way?

So are you talking about religion?
Seeing as, in many cases, the exercise of religion manifests itself in communal activity and meaningful social interactions and actions, I think it can be said to create and maintain a fully formed and complex reality for people and not 'stamp it out'. Not that this is always the case, of course.

For example, as you crawled out of your reading cubby hole and went shopping at the supermarket, would all the observations about the way people are ~ that the novels had filled your head with ~ have enhanced your understanding or appreciation of the "reality" or possible realities of the people you encounter, and even affect your interactions with them or the impressions of those interactions that you take away with you, etc.?
In short, yes. And you'd be much better off for it.

I'd also like to know, Suzianne. I don't think FMF's post stated or suggested that people are weak.

You don't have to accept reality for reality, so I estimate your chance as : 1/1

I've given you a thumbs up for not mentioning Hitler, Obama or Muslims.

It's an on-topic question (see the OP). What are your thoughts on it?

I think you could easily change the first word of your tagline to "King" and not miss a beat.

I am certain your handling of it will force the "idea" to fizzle within a very short amount of time--- not counting this meaningless banter, of course.

Why not address the topic rather than offer your meaningless banter?
