Ronnie Barker was funnier, but Ronnie Corbett was his perfect partner in comedy. They were at the top of their trade in the 1970s and 1980s and were probably more recognizable and just as loved as any other British celebrities during that era.

The Two Ronnies were far superior to Morecambe & Wise in my opinion and Corbett's
"silliness" was the perfect foil to Barker's intellectual wit and endless punning.

I always remember one particular joke he cracked .....Scots man got off the train at Kings cross complaining he had lost all his luggage ....the cork had fell out .
