So after voting for topic and size we are ready to start.
The RHP Prose competition:
* Everybody may participate by sending a contribution of their own.
* Everybody can send up to three entries.
* each conrtibution may encompass 800 words (without title).
* You have four weeks time to create your piece(s). Submit before midnight (RHP time) of the 7th of May.
* Send your files either via PM to me or per mail to Ponderable_Dickens@yahoo.com.
* I will create a voting thread after then.
* You may decide up to the end date to remove something you sent me or to send an updated version.
The topic for which the majority of people voted is "Escape".

I have (genuinely) completed the first draft of a story which is arguably the best thing I have ever written.
(The above is in no way an attempt to intimidate Moonbus, last year's winner).

Mine's done, I think everyone should write good like what I do.
I think this is the kind of competition where everybody has a shot, as it really comes down to a good core idea that is satisfactorily contained withing the 800 words limit.
