Gaslighter

Note: the most formidable gaslighter I ever knew was Mark Titmus, son of Fred Titmus the England cricketer, who - while on a Geography field trip to Slapton Sands, Devon - had us turn off the lights in our dormitory room - assumed a kind of legs-up-around-his-lover's-ears advanced solo missionary position - and then lit up the room in a fantastic manner thanks to the dumplings and beans we'd had for supper in the field centre's canteen.
