@Very-Rusty

Erm, Rusty. I am not ranting.

Just saying that if you were paralysed from the neck down in an accident, that event in your life has not 'made you stronger'

Never mentioned mocking anyone who has had such an unfortunate accident.

Tend to think of you asked them, though, they would agree with me

That clearer for you?

I've worked among these people and they laugh about their mishaps not as serious as you might think. Once they adjust to what has happened their different people than they were before obviously but are stronger too!!!

They call each other cripples, some of the stuff they say might shock you

Yes, Indeed it has made them stronger in the mind!!!

They call us walkies for now!

@Very-Rusty

Ok, Rusty

We will agree to disagree

Of course, you could argue that ANY physical disability 'makes you stronger' in mind

As I said, not sure all of the recipients of such would agree with you

There is much you don't know about me.

I may P.M. you sometime and talk to you privately about my experience with people who have physical disabilities!

But I like it. Lack of intellect, humour and a good heart or even an evil mind can destroy any look. It leaves a person empty and shallow.

The famous Oscar Wild Quote (from a Picture fo Dorian Grey) Comes to mind:

The 13 month, 17-flight SpaceShipOne flight test program included just six rocket powered flights,three of which flew to space (above 100 Km). In comparison, the X-15 program (which included 3 testaircraft) took 3 years 4 months, and 110 flights to reach 50 miles altitude (80.5 Km), and 4 years 4months to reach Space (100 Km altitude).

It is always easier to do a thing the second time than the first. And to do it the fifth or sixth time should be comparably a piece of cake.
