Funny the lady cop genuflected at a Diwali festival. That was a moment, eh! But NZ folks are a bit higher on the moral totem pole than other places so kudos to those cops.

Lets hope they are correct and don't see a second wave!

What she is saying is that they have been able to get and keep the numbers down and that healthcare professionals now have the infrastructure they need to confidently meet the next wave when it will surely come.
I wish the US were as ready. I fear our waves will overlap me, crescendo, and we will be no more prepared than we were at the first.
