What do you mean by this “fed”?

About two weeks ago, we were told that the kampung [neighbourhood block] next to ours, 20 metres behind where I am sitting in my home office, had suffered an outbreak of Covid after a rather incautious break-the-fast [Ramadan] party at sundown and 50 people were infected and 12 were hospitalized [with only about 300 people living in the kampung!]. Well, two of those neighbours have now passed away.
