Why would anyone ever buy instant anything when reasonable quality takes less than ten minutes?
If I have the choice between sleeping five minutes longer and getting reasonable quality breakfast, I'll always go for sleeping five minutes longer. My taste buds aren't awake at that time of the day anyway.

Starbucks is a crappy place to drink a coffee. To associate it with a good espresso is simply mind-numbing.

Just because most people that live in countries with no espresso tradition haven't ever tasted a good espresso doesn't mean that there is no difference.

Put a large number of average people tasting wine and probably most of them can't tell a diff ...[text shortened]... or cinema, for that matter. To really enjoy some things, one must know something about them.
True enough. It ws just an average study done with average people who drink average coffee. I didn't conduct the d@mn study I simply watched it on TV.

While we certainly don't have an Italian culture up here with any expresso traditions to speak of we do have alot of Lebonese and I have tried what they refer to as an expresso. Very strong stuff! Don't know if they're comparable.

At least that explains the cereal and milk.

Now you have a good excuse to invite a sexy Italian to canada. That excludes Ravello, though.

I have some dry cornflakes, pour on some whiskey, and try to work out a permanent way of erasing the next line on my sh!t list.

Don't worry, I never said I'm sexy but still I don't need to fly to canada to meet a nice girl......

Don't worry, I didn't say you did, just that you were excluded.
