Lavazza, always. And sometimes a couple of biscuits for dunking.

Can't agree more.

Espresso is the real coffee.

I normally don't drink anything in the morning, but I eat cereal with milk. The rest of the day I drink huge amounts of tea. Coffee? Yuck.

I grind fresh, dark-roasted coffee beans while the water heats, put both in a French press, wait four minutes, then plunge and pour. It's almost instant, but it tastes good. Why would anyone ever buy instant anything when reasonable quality takes less than ten minutes?

Ha,you make me laugh.

When you wake up do you drink a cold beer ?

By the way Espresso in Italy is another thing compared to the liquid diarrhea that most americans drink..........

....and no,instant coffe is not real coffee,it's like comparing a microwave pizza to a pizza made by a pizza maker (pizzaiolo) in a wood oven.

The coffee I drink is very fancy and very expensive. I sip it in ultra-fabulous, trendy locations all over the world while people take pictures of me. If I poor person walks by, I'll usually kick him just for fun.

Funny, I just watched a program not too long ago where they took a room full of coffee drinkers and served them all sorts of various coffees....from the very expensive, the name brands and even instant cofee.

After each cup the coffee was rated. Certain people insisted they would never drink intant coffee and of course others swore by their starbucks and that they could spot it a mile away.

They even had PR people from various coffee companies in to witness the event. Nescafe, Nabob, Maxwellhouse ect.

Anyway, at the end of the whole thing when comments and votes were finally tallied it was the cheapo no name instant coffee that came out on top. LOL. People and their silly notions of best brands and must haves are just stupid brainwashed gits.

EDIT: Now when it comes to tea of course it HAS to be Tetley 🙄

I'm pretty sure I could tell the difference between Maxwell House instant coffee and an Italian espresso. It has nothing to do with name brands, they are entirely different.

I repeat : italian Espresso is a very good coffe and can't be compared to other coffees.

It's like an american hamburger and a chinese hamburger.

I don't want to say that I can distinguish amongst all variety of coffees and classify all of them, all I can say is that in Italy Espresso is a ritual a no one here would ever dare to compare it to instant coffees.

Some of my relatives buy nescafe and such things and when I drink it at their home I always feel like I'm not drinking a real good coffee.

Yes,it can be good but not like a hot Espresso made with the moka.
