Yes, Paint Your Wagon is one of my all-time favorites! Clint Eastwood singing, and Lee Marvin's singing is even better! "Born under a wandering star", "The first thing you know", etc. This is one that needs to be watched several times, as you will find each time that there is something funny that you previously missed!

Interestingly I watched this one with my (then teenaged) sons and they weren't impressed. A few years later tow of them strongly recommended the movie to me 😉

I watched Source Code again last night, it’s a superficial SiFi but well made and tightly scripted. Definitely worth a watch especially if like me you’re a fan of Vera Farmiga who’s role in this movie doesn’t give her much to play with but there are lots of close ups of her gorgeous eyes.
She was also a great foil for Clooney’s character in Up in the Air , another film I heartily recommend for great screenplay, pathos, humour and a healthy dose of ethics 101.

Just saw "Wild Things' on HBO, from 1996 or so, lots of first rate stars and a lot of twists and turns in that perverted quad of great actors, Kevin Bacon, Matt Damon and the like.
Slacker [1990]
"Slacker follows a single day in the life of an ensemble of mostly under-30 bohemians and misfits in Austin, Texas. The film follows various characters and scenes, never staying with one character or conversation for more than a few minutes before picking up someone else in the scene and following them." [Wiki]
It feels like the entire 100 minutes is a single shot, although I don't think it is. There are, however, loads of instances where a single shot does follow one of the main characters through several separate scenes. This has a mesmerizing effect.
