New or old - they are almost uncountable. I start with

'Billy Elliott', an irresistable 2000 British dance drama film about a young boy and his dreams to become a dancer.

I saw that movie a week ago - great film. I didn't mind it was long, without intermission too.

That's it. My girlfriend and I went to the movie theatre thinking we were going to see another film (the name of which escapes me). Well it was a Thursday night and unbeknownst to us they changed the film that night. We decided that since we were there we might as well see the film. It had English subtitles and although a bit hard to keep up with them we thoroughly enjoyed the film. I have watched it on VHS a few times since...still love it. I will insert "A SPOILER ALERT" here so if you haven't seen it STOP READING THIS NOW...It has a very sad ending... I WARNED YOU.

One of my favorites is "Monte Walsh".
It has been done twice, first starring Lee Marvin and then later it was done again starring " Tom Selleck". Both are good but I still like the first one best.

It portrays the end of an era in western USA history. It's funny, sad and corny at times, but still enjoyable. We still have cowboys, cattle ranches, etc, but nothing like it was back then.

Here's a link to the whole movie on youtube if you're interested.
