I think you are probably right, but I am having difficulty seeing what you have written as I have mislaid my reading spec.

I think Americans say "Math" because any more than one might blow their minds.

How many did it take to blow yours?

It only takes one to blow my mind. To know that numbers make up the universe and we can manipulate these numbers in a way that helps us to decode Nature's riddles... Math is pretty mindblowing.

I think my mind was probably blown before I even started...which made it a practical decision to table Trig for a while...

There are things that we put an 's' on the end of, and they don't. I used to get strange looks saying I was going to Wallmart's, until I learned they didn't add the possessive 's' over there. We obviously take the view that a supermarket is owned by Mr Tesco or Sainsbury, as if we somehow expect to be served by the boss himself.

You won't be served by Mr. Tesco.

He's too busy down at Cheltenham buying up all
the horses that won't be running in the Gold Cup
in March.

Sometimes the business adds the "'s": Wendy's, Chile's, etc.

Yes it is. But it's also an imaginary number that has a negative or zero square.

I refuse to believe in imaginary numbers. If I can't use it to count with, it isn't a number. 😠
