You would have to question the credibility of the accused
if they change their story about the sequence of events.
One can only hope after proper and thorough examination of the
evidence, that the proper conclusion will finally be arrived at.
If she is found guilty, it will be up to the judge to decide the
appropriate sanction for her actions.

Why do we find it morbidly fascinating to drone on about other people's bad decision-making? Is it so that we can feel secure in that 'at least we're not as bad as them'? Take your lesson about what a bad idea it is to murder someone, and then move on. Flapping one's jaw about someone who craves the limelight does no one any good.
