A Bright Shining Star
"This joyful season brings to all of us a measure of happiness that corresponds to the degree to which we have turned our minds, feelings, and actions to the Savior, whose birth we celebrate."
—Thomas S. Monson, "A Bright Shining Star", 2010 First Presidency Christmas Devotional, December 2010
Topics: Christmas
Not everybody is christian, nor celebrates Christmas.
Is wishing to everyone a 'very merry Christmas' an ideal, or does one wish happiness at the others' times of celebration too?
I never saw a post saying 'Happy Diwali' on this site, nor 'Happy Songkhran'!
I guess is must be a Western importance issue?

To be fair there was no prohibition on you wishing us happy 'Diwali', or 'Songkhran'.
