I remember giving a damn if people were lying. So I got a pistol and stopped worrying about it.

Having a gun in your house & getting killed in a car wreck is not quite the same, although you can still be dead.

The guy I knew bought one for his protection. When he got home the place had been broken into they found his gun & bullets, & unfortunate for him he arrived home shortly after.
