Arschgeige, German, noun, literally “butt violin,” derogatory term for an offensively annoying person.

Three very common Indonesian words are bawa, bahwa and bawah, each one pronounced slightly differently. They mean bring, that and lower.

LOL@ t-g, you think I was cross? I didn't miss who said what ๐Ÿ™‚....I find it very amusing to rock the boat, just for the hell of it. People are so easily offended, SOME should be in a bible class. ๐Ÿ™‚

That sounds a lot like Gusset McGussetface's approach to this forum.

Provoking other people in the hope that they might take offense for one's own amusement seems self-centered, wrong, and in some cases dangerous and perhaps life-changing to both parties.

Don't you come at me with that sassy tone, Swiss Miss!

I'll call you out and give you a smack-back and whatever else the kid headline-writers might come up with!

Like the rest of the Swiss, I am neutral: I am happy to park anyone’s money in a numbered bank account and sell arms to all sides, but I prefer not to take part in the actual shooting bit. ๐Ÿ˜†

Schadenfreude, German, literally “damage joy,” taking pleasure in another’s misfortune.

Kevin,
Just be happy I am not provoking you for my own amusement, so far I've been on side with you. You want to change that, entirely up to you. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ooh, yes, good one. We also have adopted Zugzwang, being forced to make a (most likely bad) move, from the German. And Zwischenschach, the in-between check which saves the day; greenpawn once did a blog on this very topic.

Then you're either not properly Swiss, you're not Roman Catholic, or you're not from the Renaissance.
