The more they scare people, even if they have to make stuff up, the more votes they get. This is what happens when your base is uneducated.
They say they love "freedom", but only for people like them.

The land mines are largely Korean/Vietnam era surplus and, as such, fully depreciated assets with no cost to the American taxpayer. The high voltage wire will be much cheaper than a full wall and much of it surplus from a Halliburton job that was recently cancelled. A series of coal fired 50MW power plants will be built along the border to power tha electric fence and feed border towns. JOBS JOBS JOBS! 45! MAGA!
