And yet there is a similar law in Arizona on the books. And yet, our blowhard Sheriff Arpaio refuses to prosecute businesses who hire illegals, he just turns his head to that law broken as he conducts raids on them to arrest the workers. AND he has the gall to say that he cannot "cherry-pick" which laws to enforce.

That's the exact problem in the US (a ...[text shortened]... Arizona specifically). Logical and needed laws don't get enforced by the Republicans in charge.
Do Democrats do any better at enforcing laws? Judging by their compassionate rhetoric, they would not.

How does the record of Democrats and Republicans differ quantitatively when it comes to "enforcing laws"?

Yes, how could the US possibly implement a system with cheaper health care covering more people? It's not like every single other industrialized country has managed to do it.
I hear they are really keeping costs down in the VA.

Something to look forward to.

What is equally as puzzling is, the only time a Dim care about too much spending is when it comes to health care and keeping people alive

Democrats believe that people are more important than laws.

Republicans believe that corporations are more important than laws.
