oh…you want to lie unencumbered?

Yes, i never said I want to live in Cuba or North Koreea. Guess what, all the countries i listed have capitalism. They also have socialism. Fuk, even the US has socialism. It just doesn't have enough and what it has is poorly implemented and undermined constantly by money hungry whores in the pocket of big corporations.

@averagejoe1 saidRich people do not "create jobs". There have always been plenty of jobs and workers to do them.
What vague crap. Would you say that sentence at Starbucks??? 'Control the vast majority'. Are you some kind of rabble rouser? Can you say ' rich people create jobs', and then go from there, so we are all on the same page?
Let us try that, and have a nice discussion....like I am having a coffee and you are having a skinny vanilla latte',,,,we can chat. Jesus. ...[text shortened]... roblems you all bitch about.
Ask Me a question, I will answer it.
You dont answer questions.

@zahlanzi saidIt is boring for posts to say' "even he USA has socialism.." we all know that. The old fire department, roads, sewer system , traffic directors, OSHA, DEA, FAA gambit......yeah, we all know that. Can we not stipulate to that and get on with it? We also have 380 choices of cereals on the shelf, Cuba has one. Geez. You libs have grabbed for straws lately, settle down....be somebody!!!!

@phranny saidSee heinablve that Marauder says rich dont create jobs. Whatever....but, he is scared to take on my question ....what to do with the rich after you run them out of the business world?
The tax rate has significantly dropped over the past 25 years for the wealthy. Unfortunately, the article below will require that you actually read an article and look at graphs. You seem to not like reading more than a sentence.
https://www.factandmyth.com/taxes/eisenhower-tax-rates-90-percent
Then, you got Pharnny here, who likewise, will not answer the question...Get this......Phranny writes about the tax rate!!!!
He simply , for whatever reason, will not answer the question, like, if he and I were sitting at a Starbuck on Saturday morning ....."Hey, Phranny, all these rich guys like the guy who make 20 yachts last year and is sailing on one right now.....what are we going to do about people like him??"
He just can't handle it. Marauder....same problem.

@no1marauder saidI agree. A strong middle class with money to spend creates jobs. No corporation is going to produce goods and services unless there is a demand for them. Trickle down economics is a farce. I like to call it the golden showers economic theory. It's designed to piss on the middle class.

@averagejoe1 saidI am not advocating doing anything to rich people, you idiot. I am advocating a tax policy that existed in the past. It's very frustrating trying to communicate with someone who is so ignorant of history, current events and our constitution.

And I asked “ what socialist country would you rather live in”?
see the disconnect?

@phranny saidYes, the US federal tax structure was far more progressive back when that well-known flaming socialist, Dwight Eisenhower, was president. At least, today's GOP would consider Eisenhower a "socialist" were he a player in modern politics. Never mind that the US economy was rarely—if ever—stronger than during the years of his presidency. And never mind that it was during those years that much of the interstate highway system was built, as well as a lot of the other infrastructure that is now going to rot.

What past , what policy, or…… I got a better idea. How bout you tell us what a new tax policy would provide. What the rich would be faced with. I assume that it will not be a punitive policy? Punishing success? If it is, please say so
“It is very frustrating to communicate with someone who cannot come up with an answer dealing with today,”. Tell us what the rich should wake up to next week.
No vague nothingness , hopefully.

@averagejoe1 saidI already sent you a link to a good article with charts. I know reading and thinking are a challenge for you. It is futile to try to engage you in any intelligent exchange.

We are sitting at Starbucks after a morning run
“ Hey, Phranny. What do you think about corporate officers making so much money. 150’times more than we do.”
What would you say?
Links?

@averagejoe1 saidIn other words you do not want to bother with facts. You want emotion-driven screaming matches. Small wonder, I suppose, seeing as the facts are rarely on your side.
