According to research and analysis from the Berkeley Economy & Society Initiative and reports highlighted by outlets like Econofact and Newsweek, BLUE (Democratic-led) states generally have a higher cost of living and lower housing affordability than RED (Republican-led) states.
Surprise, huh?😱. There are so many factoids known to us, us who don’t wear blinders, who think clearly , and make educated posts, and who vote with educated information. You must get more info than that of MB et al.
@vivify saidread the article...didnt see what you claim it says. care to quote it?
According to that same study, most of the highest poverty rates come from red states:

No wonder you never include links.
@vivify saidNobody wants to live in Alafukinbama. Ofc it's more costly to buy a house in California. That coupled with letting billionaires do whatever the fuk they want in the housing market leads to angry little right wing gremlins thinking they owned the libs with this idiotic "it's more expensive to live in California than in a Dakota" talking point.

It's also cheaper to live near a garbage dump.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidSee the graph. Most of the top 10 poorest states are red. Same if you go top 20.

@AverageJoe1 saidThe incredibly simple answer here is that no one wants to live in red states, and everyone wants to live in blue states.

That's why the Republicans are going to get murdered in the midterms.

@vivify saidNononononono,, ,this thread is about the number one priority of affordability, it is not about poverty. I hope that you will start a thread on poverty.

@Suzianne saidThis Fool. Sue, on the forum , for everyone to see , everyone to see, is saying that no one wants to live in RED states. People are pouring into Florida and they are pouring into Texas, etc. etc. Red states. No one is pouring into Indiana or New York or Maine.
The incredibly simple answer here is that no one wants to live in red states, and everyone wants to live in blue states.
Now why in the world do you think that is?
She says that no one wants to live in red states
Sue says that no one wants to live in red states
Someone do a thread on Sueisms , things that we can all hang our hats on. Things she says to cause us to strive toglean more from her mind, her insight, ousight, all of it.
And get her thinking on a OnepartySystem.
@Suzianne saidIf murdered it will be because of lightweight queers and losers who are so unhappy that they pay more money for gas these days , and blame it literally on the Republican Party. The rest of the issues be damned. They are cool with their party, mutilating children, and putting out a red carpet for illegal immigrants to cross into our country. Lets see, I have a few more here……………..
Another head in the sand, and America is tired of it.

@Suzianne saidBut,,,,’What’ is why? That’s why? What is ‘that?? Poor English, it says nothing. No one will get your Post, Sue.. I just hate it for you.

Are you the same guy that said someone was done with their post, when in fact, the proper terminology would be that they were through with their post. Was that you? . The post itself would be done, but the author of the post would not be ‘done. He would be through.
Just pitiful
@AverageJoe1 saidAnd you call yourself an American.

We've already heard them all (more than once) from your Orange Demi-God.
@AverageJoe1 saidNot gonna happen.

The thing we need in this country is discernment. We need to be able to separate ideas that have merit from ideas that are just stupid on their face.
We, as a country, used to be much better at this. For how many decades did we laugh at the ridiculous Donald Trump before America finally crossed the line of ignorance into Billy Bob territory?
All Americans want a good job, a good education, healthy food, the same for our kids. A country that looks out after Americans, instead of overcharging them for EVERYthing. We the People, not being viewed as a tool for a Party caring only for themselves and their rich buddies.
