Russia sends nuclear warning to NATO as tensions rise in the Baltic

BRUSSELS, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Russia has warned NATO it would be ready to resort to nuclear weapons if the Western alliance attempted to cut off Kaliningrad, a Russian exclave that borders the Baltic Sea.

In a document sent to NATO ‌and seen by Reuters, Moscow accused the alliance of a "dangerous and reckless course" that entailed "high risks of the outbreak of a direct armed conflict".

The document said this included the possibility of "Russian strikes against decision-making centers in the alliance's member states right from the outset".

Putin is a loud mouth coward.

If I was Russia, I would have dropped a tactical nuclear bomb as soon as I found out NATO was funding and supplying weapons to the Ukraine.

The first one on Chernobyl because it wouldn't really hurt anything more than what that place already experienced.

Doing that would have stopped NATO funding the Ukraine.

If not, I'd hit Kiev.

It's starting to look that way but I think Russia can win the long game.

War of attrition I think it's called.

Sabre rattling. They know Trump is a coward who talks a lot of brash drivel ('annihilating civilizations' ) but backs down when push comes to shove.

He's killed political opponents, used military jets to force a plane to lane and hand over a passenger, invaded multiple nations, and rules (with an iron fist) the country with the world's largest nuclear stockpile.

If he's a coward, he's a dangerous one.

Your Trump Derangement Syndrome is getting really bad.

#1 This thread is about Putin, not Trump

#2 What makes you think Trump has any control over Russia?

#3 Please tell us which politician you think could actually control Russia?

Coward in that he choose to attack a weaker state hoping for a quick victory. He wont mess with NATO, Israel or the US.

That is what Trump tried to do to Iran. Coward.

What you fail to realize is that Putin is being pressured into using a tactical nuke. What good is having nukes if you can never use them? Since threatening to use nukes doesn't work anymore Putin has to demonstrate that he is not bluffing. Hence the pressure on him to "use" a tactical nuke.

Putin has to at least warn people he will use one before he actually does. Naturally you think it is another bluff which would only confirm what you already think, that he is weak. Which would only lead to more pressure to stop looking weak and use them.
