I sincerely do not understand your point, since rental rates are negotiated between the two parties. Note that the 'sticker price (MSRP)' on a car is merely a suggestion. You haggle it out. I might fix rent at $1100 for a single couple. Then a really nice couple comes in =, with 3 children, cutting it close, so I may charge them $875 just because I want to.
What have you, pray tell, or the government, got to do with the arrangement? Oh ....profit? Whatever I want it to be. I do not get your point. Let me see....Let's sah my profit is 14%. Then the landscaping company reduces their costs so mcuh that I am now making 22% profit!! 😀 . Do you dare suggest that I should 'pass on' this additional profit to a tenant?
