@eladar saidName calling? Are you that sensitive?
So name calling to try to get people to conform. Nice
One major difference between polio and covid is that polio never mutated as covid is doing. There are even concerns that the vax that has been given will not work for some future mutated strain. Evidently the vax given now is not as effective as the polio vaccine.

Yes of course there are differences between different viruses. But there were similarities too: 70% of people infected with poliovirus were completely asymptomatic. Only 0.5% developed the classic muscle weakness and paralysis we associate with the disease. Most of those 0.5% made a full recovery.
And yet with an extremely new and controversial vaccine technology, our society back then trusted medical experts over talking head tv nut jobs.

@wildgrass saidYour name calling is not my feelings.
Would you rather talk about your feelings or the evidence-free accusation of CDC data manipulation? It seems this is an issue for you. What name did I call you?
If you want to discuss facts, I am all for it.
Fact is that Covid is not a medical issue for young people, which you yourself have stated. If there is no medical necessity, then a vaccine is not really needed.
There is no CDC data to support the need for a general vaccination of people younger than 65. There is nothing unusual nor immoral about getting sick. The secret is to support your body so that it has a strong immune system and does not kill itself in reaction to the virus.

You're completely insane. Almost 120,000 people in the US under the age of 65 have died from the disease in less than 15 months.

@eladar saidVAERS attributes nothing to the vaccines; it merely receives unfiltered reports of claimed adverse events after someone takes a vaccine:
https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/vaers-cdc-data-reported-deaths-covid-vaccines-kids-12-now-eligible/
21% of deaths were related to cardiac disorders.
54% of those who died were male, 44% were female and the remaining death reports did not include gender of the deceased.
The average age of death was 74.8 and the youngest deaths reported include two 15-year-old ...[text shortened]... orts of anaphylaxis with 38% of cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine, 49% to Moderna and 12% to J&J.
"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires health care providers to report any serious adverse event (including death) that happens after a COVID-19 vaccination – whether or not the provider thinks there is any link. The CDC says, "Health care providers are required to report to VAERS the following adverse events after COVID-19 vaccination…regardless if the reporter thinks the vaccine caused the AE." AE stands for adverse event and includes death.
That means that if a vaccinated person drowns, gets in a car crash or is struck by lightning, their death must be reported to VAERS as an adverse event. Since we've vaccinated over 140 million people in the United States, many deaths will occur coincidentally after vaccination.
As of May 10, there have been 4,434 reports of death following a COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS. Doctors at the CDC review each reported death, looking at death certificates, autopsy and medical records. They have no reason to believe that COVID-19 vaccines cause death.
False reports to VAERS
VAERS is like the Wikipedia of data reporting. Anyone can report anything. Many reports are helpful. Some reports are nonsense – one anesthesiologist successfully submitted a VAERS report that the flu vaccine had turned him into The Incredible Hulk. Another false report of a 2-year-old dying from a COVID-19 vaccine was removed from VAERS because the CDC says it was "completely made up."

We are well over 15 months of covid. We have had two flu seasons, so your 120k number is more like 60k per flu season.
Seeing as a virus has a typical 3 year lifespan as an issue, see the Spanish Flu, the time for Covid is quickly coming to an end. It should be a much smaller issue next flu season then be pretty much done after that.
Unless of course this is a biological weapon unleashed on the world, in which case it may not have a natural progression and the vaccines will likely be useless anyhow.

@eladar saidLMAO! Is this like your prediction last year that COVID would disappear because of the Summer and New Zealand would have more deaths in the week of July 4th than the US would?

Really, why should anyway take your ridiculous claims seriously?

Find a pandemic that has lasted more than 3 years.

@eladar saidSince the subject is your blowhard theories on COVID, it is certainly relevant to show that they have been ludicrously wrong in the past.

It would be utter stupidity to rely on a supposed "natural cycle" when we have effective vaccines available.

@eladar saidNo. That's a historically illiterate statement.
Just to clear things up, history tells us that this virus would end naturally in a 3 year period even without vaccines. The belief that only vaccines can stop this is obviously a ploy put out there by people who benefit financially from the vaccine.

@wildgrass saidWhat virus has lasted as a big killer longer than 3 years?
No. That's a historically illiterate statement.
The last major virus was the Spanish Flu.
