Come on, not even you could refuse to make this distinction.
exactly! ( not that i know who either of those artists are ).

you can talk about the technical aspects being better or worse, but when it comes to which is better, that is purely subjective. it is relative and for someone to say one piece of music is better than another carries no weight with me 🙂

After today, I've got the best taste in music on RHP. Just got 'Cold Fact', by Rodriguez (1970), in the mail today. It's a revelation. In more ways than one. So move over everyone, I'm taking over as the most interesting man on RHP.
Sure no problem,(you got the best taste) 😀

'Cold Fact' is a great album. All the tracks of it are gold.

I heard that Rodriguez recorded two albums then went back to do some social work to help people less fortunate than him.

Either way, the music and his lyrics say it all.
Possibly the most underrated/ unknown musician around.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see him. One of many regrets.

I did get to see James Phillips before he died. Not so very far from Rodriguez in attitude.

It pays to live in his hometown. My wife just bought me tickets to see RODRIGUEZ, on November 2.

I've got his second CD now as well. So far I agree with you - not quite as good as the first. But, then, I'm only half way through it.

Surely there's like medical records or something ??

edit: this is a classic example of me not googling anything and just leaving the winds if rumor to tell me what the truth of this is ...

I'm going to go with Bosse de Nage. Nearly every reference I've read from him about music has been spot on - as far as my tastes are concerned.
the best way to figure out the best taste is to list a few albums you own that you are slightly embarrassed about. your only as good as your worst band. most people struggle to agree on whats the best, but can normally agree on whats crap.

Karoly, one of my other personalities likes Rockapella. I should think that would make the number one spot on this site. He isn't computer literate but if you agree I shall let him know at once.

I've listened to at least three albums on this list.
