The clan system is what it is so thats what we play to ..

I seem to remember in the earlier days (in the 2000's) the 'default' clan list was based on gross points, not net points....

I also remember the main issues then were 1) some teams (can't remember who) having 25 players (20 active and 5 'leaving' ) on a rota-type basis and 2) sandbagging. I haven't seen any evidence of 1 as it seems nowadays most teams have less than 20 players. The sandbagging is obvious as you only have to look at TER (great yardstick) to cross-check. I take the challenges at face value for now - win some lose some. But please check your player's TER before matching players ;-)

The clan system may be flawed, but having played on many other sites in the last 2 years all with their flavour of clubs etc I still think RHP has the clans about right and its certainly more enjoyable than the other sites' offerings.

Obviously I'm not party to what others feel the flaws are but I'm sure over the year I'll find out for myself 🙂

Memory may fail me but it does seem that the clans are not quite as active as they used to be, and the forum is nowhere near as lively ... so maybe there will come a time when things need to be freshened up ... guess thats up to the admins to put up proposals when they are ready

In the meantime, we still have 3 places available!

Don't listen to naysayers. You do your clan your way, and always know that even if you do it right, there are some that will cry to you, cry about you, cry about your clan. Don't listen to them. They are just voices on the wind. Make your clan happy, that what's important. Good luck.
