I prefer multiple moves during business hours in the U.S. Mon-Fri. I move less often during the weekends. Timeouts? I understand time is a proper component of the game when over the board. But I tend to think for correspondence chess, when things can arise that prevent us from getting to the board, that patience and a reminder are in order. A timeout win might boost your score, but not as a reflection of your quality as a player. That said, I will take a timeout if lapse of time suggests you have abandoned a losing position.
