I first played chess as a child when my dad taught me and I've just started playing again when i joined here. I enjoy playing reasonably fast games and I'll normally play several moves if you catch me online. I'm keen to improve and therefore I'll gladly play higher rated players.
My other interests include geology, photography, snooker, Formula 1, tennis, computing, and reading.
