I think giving a gold badge to anyone who wins at capitalism would be a great start:
You've banked more money than you could possibly spend in a lifetime- you can't bank anymore, but we all solute you: welldone.
Don't think I agree with that.
One problem is making money becomes an obsession with some people.
It's almost like an addiction. They can't stop trying to make the next million

Are we too mayn people, or does each person take too many resources?

Some soecieties are already shrinking, so this should be good news?
The answer is yes,the prosperous take up lots of resourced which aren't really necessary in my opinion. It's a want and need thing as I said
Do you need a private car for every member of the family?
Do you need to redecorate a room of your 5 bedroom house every year because you fancy a change in decor?
Do you really need a new phone/television/computer?
Visit to any local tip and you will see perfectly serviceable items being dumped for no other reason than they are old

Can we have a check flag to prevent non-subscribers from accepting new challenges?

Despite setting the game name to 'for subscribers only' I still get nonsubscribers accepting ..... is that something about nonsubscribers that they can't read English?!

If there was a check flag that excluded non subscribers that would be most helpful
You don't say why you don't want to play against non subs.
Surely playing against non subscribers who are trying out the site could encourage them to subscribe?
I know there are players who take 12 games I think it is and then unsubscribe for a while to save money, but I don't think you're ever going to stop that.

The problemsthat we have as a society with using up the raw materials and creating waste is well known at least since the 70's.

One step already aluded in the 80's was to recycle plastic material. The success is less than stellar. It works okay for pure wastes but even relatively small amounts of contaminants make the process unfavourable.

Now we have a new great hea ...[text shortened]... onemntally friendly we need to reduce our consumption, not replace with a bit less harmful products.
I think the main problem with the environment is yes.we are consuming a lot of raw materials because there's too many of us and the more the population increases the more waste we create.
Also the human race is focused on increasing wealth and prosperity as it always has been.
We have never prioritised need over want.

Vespin's only whingeing because he thought by sandbagging 150 points from challenges effectively completed in 2023 he'd be home clear by the end of Jan 😉

It's no fun is it @Vespin when for 11 months of the year your playing for nothing ..... and you can be certain by Feb 2025 I'll be one step ahead of you again 🍾
The clan system will get worse.
    The reasons haven't changed.
Clan leaders find it too much work to find challenges but the main problem is the clan net points list.
Until the focus changes, the number of active clans will decrease.
I've suggested ways to alter things but nothing happens.

In the UK we don't hear much about covid anymore so I don't think many can be dying or hospitalised now.
Occasionally a school teacher I know who has to take regular tests will test positive but she doesn't seem to be seriously affected.
What we do hear is people saying they've had "this cough" now for a few weeks, or even months which they can't shake off so that may be covid related and something the tests don't pick up.
I had 4 jabs I think. The first couple were mandatory to travel abroad but I don't think the others were.I didn't even bother with the flu jab this time.I had a cold for a few days over the winter, but nothing that made me particularly ill.

I think it's just messages. (But I could be wrong).
Note : All special games types, such as clan and tournament games, are not protected by the blocked list.
Message displayed if you click "blocked players"
Presumably applies to ladders as well.
So if you are in a pending tournament and the player you don't want to play joins afterwards you have no choice but to play him, resign the games or resign from the tournament.
Sorry BigKat.my original advice was incorrect.

If it was a ladder challenge you won't be able to delete it. (As have to be open to such a challenge, if you are not already challenged).
    Good point.
If you are the same ladder as a player you have blocked can you still receive challenges from said player, or does the "blocking" just refer to messages?

How to delete a opponent who challenges you?
Click the delete icon at the side of the game,or if you don't wish to receive challenges from the player click your icon, select blocked player and type in his name.
