    ...from the outside in.

As the layers peel off of Putin's "grand plan".
It appears that his failures and empty promises are ruffling the scales of a powerful block of covert Kremlin snakes.

Change is in the offing friends. It's not going to be pretty.

Not-so-hidden Putin acolytes like Metal Brain have nothing to fear: Plausible denials are now being constructed within and without several Russian sub-communities.

    No worries.
    😁

Show us the tax returns. Then we'll know who wants to talk to him. My guess is he owes more money than he can possibly come up with, so he was hoping to trade state secrets to cover his foreign debts. Now there's a juicy conspiracy for you.
    No conspiracy.
That's the 8000 lb. elephant in the room.

The biggest shame is that trump feels no remorse for betraying the country that afforded him a safe, generous existence.

That he considers veterans and heroes as "losers" and "suckers"; you know; those that have given life and limb to protect and provide him his life-long comforts... is just the sludge slathered on his fat-ass hamburger.

Looks like we'll be spared the embarrassment of US Senator Herschel Walker; all the major networks have called the runoff for Senator Warnock.

But look at his opponent. His church has anti-semetic speakers. He is unfair to tenants, he is a socialist,,,,,which may work in some capacity where your mob lives, but not in a country of free enterprise, etc.
If we go socialist, the whole world will suffer.
But we will lose in the end, there is no stopping parasitic people. I have my kids ready, though. Uhhh, y'all won't do away with net worth, etc, will you? Hadn't thought of that.

Ex-Intelligence Officials Who Said Hunter Biden Laptop Story Was a Russian Operation Silent After Twitter Files Released

[i]Leon Panetta, a former CIA director and defense secretary, John Brennan a former CIA director, Mike Hayden, ...[text shortened]... ials-who-said-hunter-biden-laptop-story-was-a-russian-operation-silent-after-twitter-files-released/
The very first sentence in your post reveals your short-term memory.

Yeah, the Democratic Party installed Bill Barr to act as trump's firewall against the Mueller report, right?

And it was the Democratic Party that fired Jeff Sessions for recusing himself beforehand, correct?

That Republicans are still in the first stage of grief over trump's election loss should remind everyone of just how far they've fallen since the heady days of Reaganism.

Denial is such a temporary bed-fellow: Better to require an NDA. You know, just in case.

It's fun to watch these 80's era Conservatives struggling to accept the fact that... they're not the "cool kids" anymore!

Perhaps it might be an externally inculcated post-industrial expectation of yours to expect everyone else to maintain a constant, reliable, and agreeable mood at all times.

Which might seem rather controlling (and dare I say unnecessarily manifold-collapsing) to some of us who still feel rather indeterminate as we shamble our way through our local probability fields.
That's the best use of psychobabble that I've seen today. 😁

Your government is in the Kremlin you Russian scumbag and Russians are natural born Nazis, throughout their history they have supported Nazi leaders of their country from the Czar’s through Lenin, Stalin and now Putin.
Russians like yourself really shouldn’t be calling anyone else a Nazi, it’s too surreal.
    Hahaha!
Thanks for writing what I was thinking.

Adolf Hitler used "gottgläubig" as a self-designation (so he claimed officially that he believed in a God, or some higher being).
In his speeches he often referred to the "Vorsehung" (divine providence), so I assume he was in some aspect a theist.
I'm not an advocate for organized religion. But some might say that Satan believes in God too.
    So, there is that.

Anyway, today's "political cult leaders" are relying upon similar methods of Hitlerian propaganda: Simple messaging and truth mixed with lies.

And short memories combined with mass ignorance of history will continue to enable this.

So, the name doesn't matter, it's what they do in the club?
So, if they called it the Adolf Hitler Fan Club, you'd be cool with that as long as "we don't know what they do in the club" ???
They already have such a club.
    It's called MAGA.

In the past, it called itself the KKK.

Long conflict-free forum threads serve a purpose. They're the glue that holds the forum community. Exciting threads polarise the readers and posters, but they're not comfortable environments for many people.
If you need to be in a place where people are, do you choose a library, an A&E or a cafe? Depends why you need the human contact, no?
A&E used to present lots of great programming.
I can't say that it involved any kind of fellowship, however.

I just clicked my remote...and on popped Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth.
The best version of "Pride and Prejudice" ever!
