As I said, my work here ( and on the other thread) is done

You concede USA had some people concerned that you lost to Iran in 98 WC.

Not arguing US football is less popular than proper football
Thank god. Now we can get back to some meaningful banter.

Hey, but thanks for dropping in. Eladar has had fun punting you around.

Hi champ

You back your RL team at your stated winning margin?

Short of a dollar or two, feeling peeved?

Lots of high intensity scrums to enjoy?

Back under that stone now. There's a nice Champ

Hey thanks, you liked that. We've been waiting for you to "deliver" something witty (even something relevant) for a long time now. Other that your confused ranting getting facts and figures mixed up we have been sadly let down.

Did you see the mighty Aussies rugby league team dismantle England in the rugby league world cup. Great game !!!

Funny you mention that. Won a pile. Took Australia 13+ into under 35.5 (total match points). Had a Bradman on it @ $4. Picked up a lazy $400.

Have won a pile so far on the cup. Easy money to be made there.

Thing is, champ, we might almost believe ya if you came out with the bet BEFORE the game.

Far as I can see, all you said was Is Oz were going to win by far more than the 14 pts(?) that they did. Can dig that out if you want.

You got any evidence of the other bet? Nah thought not

I can send you a cut and paste of my TAB account. Besides, why would I have to proove anything to you. Was that one of Daddy's little titbits of advice ?

Now I've got to rush. Shouting the boys down the pub with my winnings and watching the the Ireland Italy match down there. Need Italy to win by 13+ in the third leg of a treble. Had NZ 13+ into Fiji 37+ into Italy 13+ for a pineapple ($50) @ $7.03 to win $351.50.

If Italy win I will find it hard to drag myself up for work tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for me old chap. Tally ho !!!

I'll try to post on here before the games so you can get on and win a packet.

Today have a handicap treble.

Ireland v Italy. Ireland have 12.5 start. Not enough, get on Italy.

Lebanon v France. France have 1.5 start. Again not enough. Get on Lebanon.

Scotland v Tonga. Scotland have 33.5 start. With the start a bit closer but get on Tonga.

This treble odds $6.33. Get on, you'll win a pile.

Hi there Champ

Fell at the first

Ireland 36 Italy 12

Who set up those odds. . . Aussie bookmakers had Italy to win that from scratch?, even giving Ireland a 12 point start?

You are right, obviously money to be made. Those Aussie bookmakers don't have a clue.

Sadly, neither do Aussie punters

Ended up cleaning up again my friend.

After the first of my treble went down had a pineapple on the double. Ended up picking up $180 for a $100 outlay on the 2 bets so well ahead but not as much as yesterday.

The Irish certainly are the surprise packet and took most people by surprise. But we got out of it with the last 2 so the beers were flowing (still are).

Keep tuned for more of my tip updates. Get on them and you'll win a squillion.

I understand that world viewership is very high for both rugby and soccer.

The point of this thread was to get across exactly how unpopular those sports are in the US compared to football.

Basketball is another popular sport here in the US. I think baseball is on its way out.
