Maybe they'll (the governing body) will start imposing stronger sanctions to really persuade people not to do it....
More testing is absolutely required, and anyone caught should be banned for life, and forced to repay any prize money eared in the sport.......make all riders of major events sign contracts to agree to this..
If they're anything like most sports stars, hitting their wallets is the best way of stopping it...
Or maybe, the death sentance for failing drugs tests?? At least they wouldn't do it again!!!

I heard what did he do?
A Rabobank Team statement explained the process behind Rasmussen's sensational dismissal.
"On Wednesday night, Michael Rasmussen - the wearer of the yellow jersey - has been withdrawn from the Tour team by the management of the Rabo Cyclingteams, and has been dismissed on the spot," said the statement.
"Rasmussen appeared to have lied about his true whereabouts in the training period before the Tour de France."
"Those whereabouts were a crucial part of the argumentation used by the team management to confront and counter the allegations with regard to the captain."
